- Lady is a 4 year old purebred Connemara mare, she is standing at 15 hh at the moment with more to grow.
- Lady is a beautiful mare with a fantastic nature, she is a sweet, gentle and kind mare who loves to please.
- She is easy to ride with a soft snaffle mouth, she has three fantastic paces with a floating trot.
- Lady is well bred, she is a purebred Connemara mare and her Sire is Ballyard Rebel Bui who’s bloodlines got back to Templebready Fear Buí, Earl of Castlefrench and Boden Park Finnard.
When he was performance-tested in 1994, he obtained the highest marks ever recorded.
The 14.2hh dun’s sireline goes back through Strongbow, Calla Rebel and Rebel to the great Cannon Ball, foaled in 1904, who was the first stallion to be entered in the Connemara studbook.
“He covered hundreds of mares every year, from the best of the thoroughbreds to the best of the pony breeds,” Dan said, adding that he was a “very intelligent” character.
- Ladys Dam is Oxhill Lassie, her Sire is Forestview JJ, a class 1 stallion by the amazing Castleside JJ who is one of the best known Connemara stallions in the world.
- Lady is a mare with big potential, she is a super jump per with lots of scope, she jumped here over 1m with ease, she loose schools over 1.20m and has scope to go higher in the future!
- She just loves jumping and is super honest, she loves cross country and takes everything in her stride, she is brave and honest.
