• Ruby is a 4 year old purebred Connemara mare, she is standing at 14.2hh at present but has still lots of growing to do.
• She is an absolute dream to ride, she has a super soft snaffle mouth and hold herself in a lovely outline, Ruby wants to please at all times and is very honest.
• She is very good to hack out, alone or in company, she is an easy going mare which gives the rider so much joy!
• Ruby is honest to jump, she is quiet and careful, she loose jumps over 1.10m with lots of potential.
• She loves cross country, she is super easy to ride into the jumps and not fazed by anything.
• Ruby has full recorded breeding, all class 1. Her Sire is Shackleton. Shackelton is a gorgeous dun Class 1 Stallion by Streamstown Larry out of a mare by Thunderbolt ex Dun Aengus. Thunderbolt was by Thunder, a son of Tully Lad and out of Irene Grey.
• Ruby’s Dam is Newtown Jewel by Inverin Rocky out of a mare by Moy Johnnys Pride.

Rocky descends from the Jump the Wall (1552) branch of a mare line reaching back 8 generations to the Connemara mare Cuach na Coille (236), who was a successful show mare herself. This family of ponies have been exported across the globe leaving many good broodmares, breed show winners, performance ponies, and approved stallions behind them.

• Ruby is a gorgeous looking mare with top confirmation, she is a real sweetheart, she has amazing paces!
• She should make an ideal Pony for showing, she is well build, she is a straight mover, she has a floating trot and a super canter. Ruby is very rideable and wants to please at all times.
• She also has a super jump, she will be amazing in the future as she shows lots of potential already! She has jumped here up to 90 cm with a rider and over 1.10m loose.
• She should suit a home that will train her to be a competitive pony but she would suit a family home just the same. She should be suitable for novice, mother daughter share, teenagers or young adults.
• She is a super allrounder, she could excel in any equestrian discipline.
• She is easy to shoe, box, catch, ride and in traffic.
